A little word of advice NEVER say portuguese and spanish are alike, there's a very big rivalry between our contries, there are regions in spain that would rather be portuguese! Don't worry cause' I'm not that stupid to take it badly haha. Well...to love is so different even in the same country, with globalization I mean, there are more "groups" than ever and more segregation cause' of fashion's and all, I think that there are so many different ways of thinking (I apologize for the redundancy) and feeling nowadays that we don't even have to go that far. In Portuguese there is another word that is unique , no other language has it: "Saudade" it means to miss but there is so much more to it...I don't how to explain it, most of it's meaning has a direct connection with our history and Fernando Pessoa, Luís de Camões. There was even a movement in art called "Saudosismo" as in the art of missing something. Again I don't know how to explain it fully, maybe if I spoke Polish! haha It is the wishing for the return to our former greatness, to our exploring deeds all over the world (as in the Atlantic Ocean) all the honor and courage that we had that now is considered lost since we lost our independence to Spain for 60 years with the Filipe's and the Bourgeois Status that was implemented some time after, the whole schbang so to speak of the "modern" world and also with Salazar's dictatorship. I could go on for ours :x I apologize again xD
Well, suffice to say, there are more and more ways of viewing things that we consider to be equal with globalisation and we are losing the original ones. I think this precedes the history of man much further, dating back to the minoican culture (atlantis) and the breaking of the link between Men and Nature, and consequently with himself. (I say that most of us are not Men but men, we've lost what makes us Human)

I love Courage! :D
and I don't think it's strange. some words or frases can't be translated without loosing their true meaning.
like 'kochac' = to love in Polish is not equal to 'amar' in Spanish ;]

Well...I can only say that I love rainy days too.
Today it rained here, since I didn't have an umbrella I had to walk out in the rain, can't say that I minded but...it didn't sink in the way I thought it would..the rain I mean.
Dunno, strange moments, strange days (like in The Doors).

well, what I meant was thanks for noticing =)
I'm such a small voice in the world, and it's nice to be noticed out of a crowd.

Hi! Thanks for the comment in my journal! I guess I'll take a look in that poem! No, I haven't seen the movie Before Sunrise yet but I saw "Before Sunset" though.
If you still want to show me that poem, I'm still interested too :)
